Stop Three Strikes .org

In Massachusetts a “3 Strikes” Habitual Offender Bill was recently signed into law by Gov. Deval Patrick and took affect August 2, 2012. This is in spite of a concerted community / coalition effort spearheaded by the Blackstronian, EPOCA, NAACP, Prisoners Legal Services, FAMM, and many others to stop passage of a “3 Strikes” Bill in MA. We worked closely with Blackstonian to create a website www.stopthreestrikes.org as well as posters and flyers, info graphics, and the latest print edition of the Blackstonian dedicated to the 3 strikes issue. Born on the 1st of U-Lie Scope Tape Vol. 1

This summer the homies Scope Urban Apparel dropped their first mixtape featuring the lineup of Scope Artists. The project was mixed by DJ Leah V and released for digital download and debuted live on UnRegular Radio. For the cover art, we worked on creating a mostly photographic cover that played on the title of the tape. Using small flags, a hand cut stencil of the Scope logo and flammable spray paint, we covered a selection of the flag and set it ablaze, creating the logo in flame through the flag. We then took pictures and videos until it burned itself out and selected the best shots for the front and back covers. The process was fun and pretty simple to execute once the idea came up but the results far exceeded our expectations. Perhaps this is could be a new medium for us. The final covers perfectly suited the purpose of breaking Scope into the music game with an attention grabbing cover. We also developed promo materials and a web graphics based on the same images.

Sweatshop Band .com

With a lot of our clients – concise content delivery is an essential quality they are looking for in a website. Espeically with music artists, there is simply not a ton of deep navigation content for people to look at. Generally they want a few main things: Music, videos, social networking links and events – everything else is extraneous for the most part. Here’s what we cooked up for Sweatshop. http://sweatshopband.com

MBTA Music

Scope Artist MeTaL released MBTA Music as the first single off of his “What Should I Call this Mixtape?” project. Expressing the universal frustration of public transportation, MBTA Music is a song anyone can relate to. We did a single cover for it using a collection of old MBTA passes from when they were colorful and interesting (like foriegn currency) – prior to the adoption of the Charlie Card. We then also did a custom graphic of the Charlie Card complete with Scoped out passengers.
